Volkswagen Super Bowl Commercial Uses THE FORCE

Many question the wisdom of releasing Super Bowl commercials before the game, to which Volkswagen replies, “I find your lack of faith disturbing.” Their latest commercial has only been on YouTube 2 days and has over 6 MILLION HITS. The spot features a pint-sized Darth Vader who uses the Force when he discovers the all-new 2012 Passat in the driveway. It leverages humor and the unforgettable Star Wars™ score to create an emotional commercial. A movie geeks’ dream come true.

Awesome. The music KILLS IT!!! How cute is that – especially when he starts the car. “What the what??” My favorite part is when he is walking down the hall and the cape is flying behind him all ominous like the movie. Very clever of VW.
