AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Maintains Number 1 Ranking at Weekend Box Office

AP-01578_R

It was another strong weekend at the box office – both in the U.S. and on the international scene – and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON shows no signs of slowing down.

Rentrak’s Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, “Disney/Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ continues to dominate the global movie marketplace, holding as the #1 film in many markets boasting another impressive $68 million weekend internationally in advance of the China opening this Tuesday and a massive global total to date of $875.3 million. Additionally, Universal reports ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ is off and running with a solid $8.8 million and number one debuts in Australia and New Zealand this weekend in advance of its North American debut later this week.”

AP-17762_R1

Marvel announced last week the start of production on CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. The film picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

The film returns Chris Evans (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron”) as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America along with Robert Downey Jr. (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Marvel’s “Iron Man 3”) as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Iron Man 3”) as The Vision, Jeremy Renner (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Marvel’s “The Avengers”) as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Iron Man 3”) as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Godzilla”) as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.

After his debut in Marvel’s ANT-MAN on July 17, 2015, Paul Rudd will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers as Scott Lang/Ant-Man in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

The film also includes Chadwick Boseman (“42,” “Get on Up”) as T’Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Revenge”) as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl (“Inglourious Basterds,” “Bourne Ultimatum”), Frank Grillo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Warrior”) as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt (“A History of Violence,” Marvel’s “The Incredible Hulk”) as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and Martin Freeman (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”).

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE) Official Trailer Is Definitely NSFW

HumanCentipede3_poster[1]

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE) horrific new trailer is here. Mind you, it’s probably not a good idea to watch this one at work.

Directed & Written by Tom Six, the movie stars Dieter Laser, Laurence R. Harvey, Eric Roberts, & Bree Olson

Bully prison warden Bill Boss (The Human Centipede Part I’s Dieter Laser) has a lot of problems; prison riots, medical costs, staff turnover, but foremost he is unable to get the respect he thinks he deserves from his inmates and the state Governor (Eric Roberts). He constantly fails in experimenting with different ideas for the ideal punishment to get the inmates in line, which drives him completely insane.

Under threats of termination by the Governor, his loyal right hand man Dwight (The Human Centipede Part II’ s Laurence R Harvey) comes up with a brilliant idea. An idea based on the notorious Human Centipede movies, that will literally and figuratively get the inmates on their knees, creating the ultimate punishment and deterrent for anyone considering a life of crime.

Get ready for the 500+ prison human centipede when THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE) opens in theaters & on VOD May 22.
