Steven C. Miller WEREWOLVES Trailer Stars The One And Only Frank Grillo

“HEY! Bite Me!” A god amongst men, only actor Frank Grillo could utter this line at a oncoming werewolf he’s about ready to mow down.

Here’s the trailer for his new film WEREWOLVES and it looks spectacular!

From the director of 2012’s awesome SILENT NIGHT, 2016’s MARAUDERS and 2017’s ARSENAL, Steven C. Miller is known for his work in both horror and action genres. Check out his movies if you haven’t seen them before!

In WEREWOLVES, a supermoon event has triggered a latent gene in every human on the planet, turning anyone who entered the moonlight into a werewolf for that one night. Chaos ensued and close to a billion people died. Now, a year later, the Supermoon is back….

Grillo and Miller – whoa yeah! Definitely has a DOG SOLDIERS vibe to it! The film also features Katrina Law, Ilfenesh Hadera, James Michael Cummings and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Frank Grillo has been in some terrific films like COP SHOP, BOSS LEVEL, THE PURGE: ELECTION YEAR and CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. He will also reprise his role as Rick Flag Sr. from the animated DCU series Creature Commandos (2024).

“The actor will first appear as team leader Rick Flag, Sr. in animated series Creature Commandos, which premieres this fall on Max. The character has roots in the DC universe already as the father of the late Rick Flag, Jr., a figure played by Joel Kinnaman in Gunn’s The Suicide Squad (2021). The filmmaker previously confirmed that Grillo will also play Flag in season 2 of Peacemaker, which sets up potential conflict since it was that show’s titular character (John Cena) who killed Flag’s son in an earlier movie.

And it doesn’t stop there. After paparazzi pics surfaced of Grillo on the set of Superman, Gunn confirms to Entertainment Weekly that Rick Flag, Sr. will be a part of next summer’s big-screen release.”

The score is from The Newton brothers who have worked on previous horror/sci-fi scores for FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S, MIDNIGHT MASS, THE FOREVER PURGE, DOCTOR SLEEP. OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL, EXTINCTION and THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE (interview).
