Tom Cruise Reveals Day One Photo From TOP GUN: MAVERICK

TOP GUN: MAVERICK has officially began production. Tom Cruise revealed the first day of production on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

This is the second collaboration between Tom Cruise and director Joseph Kosinski. They both worked on Oblivion (2013).

The 1986 film took in $356 million worldwide. Director Tony Scott’s film also featured Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer Anthony Edwards, Tom Skerritt, Meg Ryan, Michael Ironside, John Stockwell, Barry Tubb and Rick Rossovich.

The Oscar nominate actor confirmed the sequel in 2017.

Cruise will be starring in Paramount Pictures’ MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE FALLOUT on July 27.
