May 4, 2008 saw the debut of IRON MAN starring Robert Downey Jr. Ten years later fans embraced the wildly successful BLACK PANTHER with multiple viewings and now eagerly await the opening of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.
The world premiere of Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated “Avengers: Infinity War,” featuring the ultimate collection of Super Heroes in one film, took place on Monday evening in Los Angeles.

Stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Brolin, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke and Chris Pratt were joined by directors Anthony and Joe Russo and producer Kevin Feige for a walk down the red carpet where they greeted enthusiastic fans at the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.
To celebrate the opening of the movie, Disney released a new AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR featurette, “Wakanda Revisited.”
Plus check out the new “Legacy” featurette, as Kevin Feige joins other filmmakers and the cast of Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR to chronicle the growth and success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from its auspicious beginning with “Iron Man” in 2008 to the upcoming tour de force “Avengers: Infinity War.”
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay.
Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” is rated PG-13 and opens in U.S. theaters on April 27, 2018.
