Sony Pictures Classics’ THE LEISURE SEEKER Now Opening March 9, 2018 Starring Helen Mirren And Donald Sutherland

Sony Pictures Classics announced today they will now release THE LEISURE SEEKER in select cities starting March 9th, 2018 as Spring season gets under way. This is a move from their original late January release date.

Academy Award-winner Helen Mirren and two-time Golden Globe-winner Donald Sutherland star in the film, directed by Paolo Virzi, winner of the 2017 David di Donatello Best Director Award. Mirren has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress.

The film world premiered at the 2017 Venice International Film Festival with subsequent premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival and Hamptons International Film Festival.

Mirren and Sutherland star as a runaway couple on an unforgettable journey in the faithful old RV they call the Leisure Seeker. The couple travels from Boston to The Ernest Hemingway Home in Key West, recapturing their passion for life and their love for each other on a road trip that provides revelation and surprise right up to the very end.
