James Franco returns to Lifetime as executive producer and star of the enthralling romance-thriller High School Lover, available on DVD November 21 from Lionsgate. This captivating feature film debut from director Jerell Rosales features Paulina Singer as 17-year-old Kelly, who falls for a rising Hollywood star (François Arnaud), and her father (Franco) must find a way to end the forbidden affair before it takes a dangerous turn for the worse. When 17-year-old Kelly (Paulina Singer) sneaks out to the city one night with her friends, she isn’t expecting to meet Hollywood’s hottest actor, Christian Booth (François Arnaud). To Kelly’s surprise, Christian contacts her and they begin spending time together. When her father (James Franco) finds out about the relationship — and the wide age gap — he demands that Kelly stop seeing Christian.
