RESET (RELÈVE: HISTOIRE D’UNE CRÉATION) Ballet Documentary Screening at Webster University This Weekend
RESET (RELÈVE: HISTOIRE D’UNE CRÉATION) screens Friday February 3rd through Sunday February 5th at Webster University’s Moore Auditorium (470 East Lockwood). The movie starts at 7:30 all three evenings.
RESET (RELÈVE: HISTOIRE D’UNE CRÉATION) directed by Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai invites audiences into the Paris National Opera. Following Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied, director of the Paris Opera Ballet, this is a remarkable inside look as the company prepares for his first gala. With unprecedented access, Reset immerses audiences into the world of the Paris Opera Ballet and brings them the experience of attending the show.
The critics love RESET (RELÈVE: HISTOIRE D’UNE CRÉATION):
The Wrap said:
“You feel the pressure on the director and his troupe through the daily countdown, which seems, like all deadlines, to move at a faster pace as the day of reckoning approaches.”
The Hollywood Reporter Says:
“As they recount “the story of a world premiere,” filmmakers Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai take the viewer from first steps to exultant gala performance – in essence, from the prosaic to the transcendent.”
and Total Film exclaimed:
“For dance fans this is a fascinating study of the time, effort and logistics that go into a big production.”
Admission is:
