Win Tickets for Opening Night Screening of FINDERS KEEPERS in St. Louis
The documentary FINDERS KEEPERS opens Friday in St. Louis at Landmark’s Plaza Frontenac Theater. From the makers of KING OF KONG, FINDERS KEEPERS tells the strange tale of recovering addict and amputee John Wood, who finds himself in a stranger-than-fiction battle to reclaim his mummified leg from Southern entrepreneur Shannon Whisnant, who found it in a grill he bought at an auction and believes it to therefore be his rightful property.
We Are Movie Geeks would like to give 12 St. Louis-area movie fans a pair of tickets for the opening night show at 9:30pm, October 2nd.
Look for Travis Keune’s review of FINDERS KEEPERS later this week here at We Are Movie Geeks but the critics who have seen it so far have been impressed. .
Andrew Barker at Variety called FINDERS KEEPERS
“Hysterical, insightful and genuinely empathetic …”
Austin Trunick at Under the Radar calls is:
“One of the strangest but most effective character studies we’ve seen in years.”
Jen Yamato of The Daily Beast says:
“The strangest documentary of the year is a sensational tango of ego, entitlement, and obsession over one man’s gnarled, fleshy, discolored foot.”
