GATEWAY GEEK FEST Coming to ST. Louis August 28-30
St. Louis-area Movie Geeks (and TV Geeks, and Comic Book Geeks, and Gaming Geeks and Music Geeks and Cosplay Geeks, and Fiction Geeks) rejoice! There’s a new Pop Culture convention coming to town!
2015 brings in one of the Newest and Largest two day event shows in St. Louis with GATEWAY GEEK FEST. The event is sponsored by TM (ToyMan) Productions who also host ToyMan Toys, Comics & Con. The event runs August 28-30 and will be held at Machinist Hall 12365 St. Charles Rock Road Bridgeton, MO with some ancillary events at the LaQuinta Hotel (formerly the Wingate) 13615 Riverport Rd Maryland Hts.
With over 150 tables filled with Vendors offering items such as Comics, Illustrations, Pop Culture, Steampunk merchandise, Character Clothing, TV/Movie Memorabilia (posters – autographs), Action Figures Collectibles and MUCH MORE. GATEWAY GEEK FEST will be held at Machinist Hall 12365 St. Charles Rock Road Bridgeton, MO
There will be Cosplayers attending from several fandoms including Superman, Batman, Ironman, Captain jack Sparrow, Poison Ivy, Cat Woman, Minions, Dr. Who and MANY MORE.
Freelance Illustrators/Artists in Artists Alley with originals and prints for sale and some specialty items.

Addy Miller – Actress and model, known for Summer the first Zombie kill of AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” other recent works are “Dark Places”(15), “June”(14) and The Secret Life of Bees (08).
MARK DODSON – A Voice Actor known for voicing the Gremlins and Salacious Crumb in Return of the Jedi. Mark has done several more great roles..
ANGUS OBLONG – Angus Oblong is the pen name of an American writer and illustrator best known as the author of Creepy Susie and the 2001 television series it spawned, The Oblongs.
MICHAEL NICOLOSI – An actor and producer, known for Spawn,The Watcher, and Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead.
ALEXA HEART – After discovering the convention scene and world of cosplay in 2012, she has been attending cons and creating costumes ever since. Currently, she has nearly 2 dozen costumes of her favorite characters. In 2014, Alexa began hosting panels on many topics, including bullying and discrimination in cosplay and has had the chance to speak at some of the largest conventions in the country
TIM PROCTOR – Tim Proctor is a freelance artist/illustrator most known for his sketch card work. He has worked on a number of properties including Star Wars, The Walking Dead, Mars Attacks, The Lord of the Rings, X-Files , The Hobbit, My Little Pony, Marvel and more. Tim has also produced prints through Acme Archives for both Lucasfilm and Disney. In addition to creating art, Tim can also been seen portraying walkers on AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead.
WYATT WEED – A director, writer and actor. Besides being in Star Trek and Predator 2, he has directed Shadowland and Four Color Eulogy (2014). Wyatt has a way with visual effects too.
SCOTT SCHWARTZ – Scott is an actor with an impressive Bio. Known as the Ultimate bad Guy he was in all of the Ocean’s Films- Ocean’s 11,12, and 13 as Bruiser. TV shows The Mentalist and Castle, and other films such as Fun with Dick and Jane and Starsky and Hutch. Scott is also a writer, director and former Professional Wrestling Champion.
Theodus Crane – Widely known as ‘Big Tiny’, The Walking Dead alum, Theodus Crane has appeared in fan favorites such as The Bag Man, The Starving Games, and Breakout Kings. In June 2015, Theodus returns to television as stunt double for Nonso Anozie’s in CBS’s highly anticipated thriller, Zoo.
Quinton Flynn – Quinton’s voice has been burning up the voice over industry since he first arrived in Los Angeles from his native Cleveland, Ohio. He is an A-list voice actor, having played such famous animated characters as: Jonny Quest, Speed Racer, The Human Torch, Elmer Fudd, Timon & Snowbell, just to name a few.
Kevin Duhaney – Kevin is a Canadian film & television actor based out of Toronto, Ontario. With over 35 film & television credits to date. He is best known for his roles as Ethan James The Blue Dino Thunder Power Ranger as well as the voice of Cameron on the hit cartoon series Total Drama Island.
Jeff Parazzo – Most fans recognize Jeff Parazzo as Trent Fernandes the white Dino Thunder Power Ranger from the hit kids television show Dino Thunder Power Rangers. Recently Jeff guest starred on such shows as 24hour rental, Flashpoint, Nikita, Degrassi: The Next Generation and USA’s Suits
BLAZE BROTHER – BLAZE BROTHERS Jack and Billy Blaze, two hard core half brothers with a chip on their shoulders and a gun in each hand, take you on a journey loaded with TREACHERY, DEATH and REVENGE. Sounds like it is packed with action and adventure GET READING already!
TATTOO BOB – An artist who has done portraits commissioned by iconic rock group Kiss, and set a Guinness record in Nashville Doing a sketch of Frankenstein 3 foot by 4 foot so realistic, the fans could not believe their eyes. Bob prides himself on being a freelance artist in the music and motion picture business and has done art for more then 100 Celebrity’s in LA. . Bob is currently working on original prints and sketch cards for members of the Walking Dead and a few other ionic movies. With a portfolio of more then 400 commissions in the past 5 years, we are sure you will find something you like.
Shane Moore – January 14th, 2008. Shane retired from his police career to be a professional novelist. His Abyss Walker series has spawned thirteen novels, and growing, In June of 2012 Shane launched “The Apocalypse of Enoch,” his highly anticipated end of days thriller that mixes Hitchock with the Excorcism. After a whirlwind tour and media blitz landing him on several TV interviews–including Saint Louis’s FOX 2, Shane has since published sequel “The Scourge of Enoch” and now is releasing the third book “The Apocalypse of Enoch III” at our own show Gateway Geek Fest!
