PUMPED AND DUMPED – St. Louis Filmmakers Start Fundraising Campaign for Upcoming Comedy

A group of talented, St. Louis based filmmakers are starting a new project this summer and they need your help. The film PUMPED AND DUMPED, scheduled to begin production in June, is written and directed by Kate Barton and will star Mary Jane Weinstein and Jeanitta Perkins. It’s a comedy that highlights the very real struggle of trying to figure yourself out after you’ve had a kid and about that balance between being there for your child and pursuing your own dreams. After splitting up with her baby-daddy, a young mom attempts to pursue her “pre-baby” dreams by forming a stand-up comedy mom band, “Pumped & Dumped,” with her best friend, in hopes of one day landing her dream job as a TV writer on the popular Mom Network.

The makers of PUMPED AND DUMPED have started a fundraising campaign at the ‘Seed and Spark’ crowdfunding site to help raise money for necessities such as cameras, props, wardrobe and actors. Take a look at their pitch video:
