WAMG Attends the TransWorld Halloween & Attractions Convention
I spent yesterday with zombies – robot zombies, zombie masks, zombie chia pets, 30-foot tall animatronic zombies, normal size animatronic zombies, zombie paintball, zombie children, zombie gorillas, and zombies munching on more entrails and guts than you can shake a stick at. It was the TransWorld Halloween & Attractions Show which took place over the weekend at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. There were other horrors there as well – dinosaurs, haunted rides, gruesome body painting, bloody weapons, the artists of the TV show Face-Off, living sculptures, giant severed limbs, But it was that spider/predator hybrid that made me lose sleep. I think I even spotted Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Wolfman in there somewhere, but those guys must know that, in this age of The Walking Dead, it’s gore that brave haunted house fans crave and gore aplenty was on display at the TransWorld Halloween & Attractions Show.
Haunted houses have come a long way since I was a kid (when peeled grapes stood in for eyeballs) – Seriously, The TransWorld’s Halloween & Attraction Show is like the highlights of every haunted house all on display in one (mammoth) room. And you don’t have to walk through all that fog!
TransWorld’s Halloween & Attraction Show is the ONLY industry trade show of its kind in the world. There is no other show that has as many exhibitors and Haunted House industry related products. For the last 19 years, TransWorld’s annual Halloween & Attractions show has created the market place for the Haunted House industry. Each year the Industry gathers to network, get new ideas and purchase products. This show is a MUST ATTEND event if you are thinking about opening or currently operate a Haunt, Corn Maze, Farm, Pumpkin Patch, Paint Ball Field, Family Fun Center, Amusement Park, Zoo, Aquarium, Halloween Retail Store or anything Halloween related. They have everything you need to make your Halloween season a success. Each year, the show continues to grow with NEW EXHIBITORS, NEW PRODUCT, and more buyers on the show floor. The Halloween & Attractions Show combines the products and knowledge of over 300 exhibitors!
The TransWorld’s Halloween & Attraction show takes place in St. Louis every March. Their website can be found HERE
