TERMINATOR GENISYS First Look Pics
A first look at TERMINATOR GENISYS has finally arrived.
In September, Paramount Pictures confirmed the release dates for all three films in the new trilogy, beginning with the premiere of TERMINATOR GENISYS on July 1, 2015. The second new Terminator film will be released on May 19, 2017, and the trilogy will conclude in the third film, to be released on June 29, 2018.
In EW’s release of the new photos, the article says the film:
“is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.”
Filming of director Alan Taylor’s TERMINATOR 5 movie wrapped in August, while actor Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed the name of the film on Twitter and Instagram with this photo.
Hasta la vista, baby. Thx to cast & crew. Can’t wait to remind fans why they fell in love with @Terminator on 7/1/15. http://t.co/oazzne8NEb
