Second Trailer Arrives For BOOK OF LIFE

20th Century Fox has just released a brand new trailer for the animated film, THE BOOK OF LIFE.

Featuring the voices of Christina Applegate, Ice Cube, Hector Elizondo, Diego Luna, Zoë Saldana, Danny Trejo, Channing Tatum and Ron Perlman, the movie will be in theaters on October 17.

THE BOOK OF LIFE, a vibrant fantasy-adventure, tells the legend of Manolo, a conflicted hero and dreamer who sets off on an epic quest through magical, mythical and wondrous worlds in order to rescue his one true love and defend his village.

The film produced by filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and directed by Jorge Gutierrez. Gutierrez also wrote the screenplay with Doug Langdale.

The cast also includes Cheech Marin, Hector Elizondo, tenor Placido Domingo, plus Ana de la Reguera (Nacho Libre, Eastbound and Down), Eugenio Derbez (Instructions Not Included), comedian Gabriel Iglesias (Stand-up Revolution), and Danny Trejo (Machete).

The film’s original score and songs are by two-time Academy Award-winner Gustavo Santaolalla (BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN).
