The Tivoli Turns 90! MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS Screens This Sunday to Celebrate!

The movie MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS turns 70 this year but the Tivoli Theater’s got it beat by 20 years!
Join the party when the Tivoli celebreates in 90th anniversary by screening the 1944 classic musical MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS at 4pm this Sunday, May 25th at 4pm. Admission is only $5.
The Tivoli Theater is located at 6350 Delmar in The Loop, University City, MO
If you’re in a mood for nostalgia and the idealization of family life in early 20th century St. Louis, check out the 1944 musical MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, now famous for its classic songs and the brilliant performances of Judy Garland and Margaret O’Brien. ‘The Trolley Song’, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, “The Boy Next Door” are just a few of the memorable numbers from director Vincente Minnelli’s charming bit of nostalgia. MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is an excellent example of Classic Movies at their best and you do not want to miss the chance to see it on the big screen.
The event is hosted by Joe Williams, movie critic for The St. Louis Post Dispatch and there will be giveaways from Blueberry Hill, Chipotle, Market Pub House, Pitaya, Phoenix Rising, Subterranean Books, and Cinema St. Louis.
