But a fan-made DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Lego Trailer… Simian Epic-ness!

Here’s a look at the official trailer that debuted in December.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is the follow-up to RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, which opened theatrically during the summer of 2011 and grossed nearly half a billion dollars worldwide. A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar (Andy Serkis) is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier.

They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES also stars Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer.

Directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In), the producers are Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Oblivion), and Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes).
