The race was on in London, England on Monday as drivers and stars arrived at the world premiere for director Ron Howard’s RUSH. Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Brühl, Olivia Wilde and Ron Howard walked the red carpet at Odeon Leicester Square prior to the film’s debut in the UK on Friday, September 13.

Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Frost Nixon) directs the big-screen re-creation of the merciless 1970s Formula One rivalry between James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl).

Set against the sexy and glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing, RUSH portrays the exhilarating true story of two of the greatest rivals the world has ever witnessed—handsome English playboy Hunt and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Lauda.

RUSH opens to exclusive engagements in New York and Los Angeles on Friday, September 20, 2013, and the film will go wide in the US on Friday, September 27.
