Brand New GRAVITY Photos Are Visually Breathtaking
The film has already received rave reviews from critics at the Venice, Telluride and Toronto Film Festivals. GRAVITY presently sits at 96 on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.
In her review, Stephanie Zacharek (Village Voice) wrote,
“Gravity is harrowing and comforting, intimate and glorious, the kind of movie that makes you feel more connected to the world rather than less.”
Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) likened the experience to Ridley Scott’s groundbreaking 1979 sci-fi film,
“Gravity feels as rare as Alien must have all of those years ago. It’s just not something you see every day.”
As director Alfonso Cuarón’s film heads into the homestretch before it’s release in cinemas (US October 4th, UK November 8th), here are the latest images from GRAVITY.
Starring Academy Award winners Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, GRAVITY is a heart-pounding thriller that pulls you into the infinite and unforgiving realm of deep space.
Sandra Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone – tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.
The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left.
But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
