Watch The New Trailer For THE BOOK THIEF – Stars Geoffrey Rush And Emily Watson

Liesel (Sophie Nélisse) meets her new foster parents, Hans (Geoffrey Rush) and Rosa (Emily Watson) in this first trailer for THE BOOK THIEF. 20th Century Fox will release the film in theaters November 15.

Based on the beloved bestselling book, THE BOOK THIEF tells the inspirational story of a spirited and courageous young girl who transforms the lives of everyone around her when she is sent to live with a new family in World War II Germany.

For those not familiar with the book, “Death” is the narrator and begins the story with an introduction about colors, himself and “The Book Thief.”

The film is directed by Brian Percival (DOWNTON ABBEY), screenplay By Michael Petroni, based upon the novel by Markus Zusak. THE BOOK THIEF was filmed almost completely on the backlot and the sound stages at Studio Babelsberg in Germany.
