Check Out The New, Creepy EVIL DEAD Poster And Photo – You’ve Been Warned

Show of hands. Who wants to to become a deadite? No one? At least give a “hell yes” to the first poster for Sam Raimi’s EVIL DEAD. (via Yahoo! Movies). I’m actually looking forward to this remake – can’t be any better or worse than the original movie. In their 1981 review warning the viewer about the guts and gore, Siskel and Ebert said “if you want to see twice ground, ground beef… go to a butcher shop.” If only reviews were as clever these days.

In the remake of the cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

The EVIL DEAD cast includes Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, and Elizabeth Blackmore.
