Marvel and Disney have sent us the first official storylines for THOR: THE DARK WORLD and IRON MAN 3.

Marvel’s THOR: THE DARK WORLD continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. Plus in Marvel’s IRON MAN 3, Tony Stark/Iron Man finds his world reduced to rubble by a malevolent enemy and must use his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him as he seeks to destroy the enemy and his cohorts. While you can see the superheroes in their own film next year, both of them will come together when Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the untitled “Marvel’s The Avengers” sequel set for release May 1, 2015.

THOR: THE DARK WORLD is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013 (in Digital 3D and RealD), and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
