Their film has the action, thrills, cutting-edge visual effects and 3D, and monstrous creatures of the undead, you’d expect from a title that includes the words “vampire hunter”. But through its portrait of a beloved historical figure, it is grounded in reality. This is the Lincoln you know – with one additional quality of which you were unaware. Until now.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER stars Benjamin Walker as the titular hero; Dominic Cooper as Henry Sturges, Lincoln’s mentor in vampire hunting; Anthony Mackie as William Johnson, Lincoln’s valet and friend; and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln, Abe’s wife. The screenplay is by Seth Grahame-Smith and Simon Kinberg, based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith. The producers are Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, and Jim Lemley. Timur Bekmambetov is the director.
