Sacha Baron Cohen & THE DICTATOR’s Response To Oscar Ban

THE DICTATOR has delivered his formal response to being banned from the Oscars by The Academy. Sam Rubin of KTLA in Los Angeles reported Friday morning that if Sacha Baron Cohen shows up to the Oscars in character, he will have his tickets revoked.

Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris and Ben Kingsley, THE DICTATOR is the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

From director Larry Charles, THE DICTATOR will be in theaters May 11, 2012.
