The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards NOMINATIONS
It was all about THE ARTIST, THE DESCENDANTS and THE HELP (lots of “the’s” in there) when the nominations for the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced earlier today. The Weinstein Company’s tribute to the silent film era, THE ARTIST, led with 6 noms while drama-laidened Fox Searchlight Pictures’ THE DESCENDANTS and Touchstone Pictures’ THE HELP garnered 5 nods each.
The studios leading the field were The Weinstein Company – 12, Sony Pictures Classics – 10 and Touchstone Pictures – 8.
