WAMG At THE MUPPETS Junket

By  |

Hey kids! Melissa here with an all new adventure for you. This time, it’s with THE MUPPETS at their junket at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The day started with a press conference that was split into two sections. The first section included James Bobin (Director), Nick Stoller (Co-Writer), David Hoberman (Producer), Todd Lieberman (Producer) and Bret McKenzie (Music Supervisor).

The second half included Jason Segel, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Amy Adams, and new muppet Walter. Miss Piggy had me laughing the entire press conference!

After the press conference I got a little one on one time with Kermit and Miss Piggy. See where Miss Piggy’s elbow is? She might have checked me once or twice fore getting to close to Kermit.

After our little meet and greet were some fun roundtables with the cast and crew.

Again, Miss Piggy is fabulous as always!

It was a MUPPET-TASTIC day!!! I can’t wait until the release of the film, because I know you guys are going to love it!

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With signature celebrity cameos, Disney’s “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.
