DREAM HOUSE Contest Photo Entries – You Pick The Winner!

Here are the finalists for the DREAM HOUSE contest from WAMG. All that was required was to submit a photo and/or story of a haunted, abandoned house in your neighborhood.

The winner will receive a prize pack with tickets to the advance screening (Thursday, September 29 at 10pm at Ronnie’s 20 Cine) of DREAM HOUSE, posters and other goodies! Let us know in the comments section below who the winner is.

#1 North St. Louis (Photo and Story)

The Red Brick House on Prairie

In North St. Louis, they tell the tale of the red brick house on Prairie Ave. It is rumored that Fat Woods and Earl Killer Williams, two Black gangsters who, in the early seventies took over North St. Louis territory after the mob left, used the cellar to kill (Fast) Eddie Kane (a small level drug dealer wannabe pimp)and Sugar Baby, his main lady. The rumors says that it was long and bloody night of torture and that the bodies were never found. After Fat Woods was convicted of racketeering, one by one, other members of the Woods gang met untimely and very grusome deaths- all with a mile radius of the house. one guy was stuffed in the dumpster behind the house. Earl killer Williams was gunned down and his hat was found in the back yard. Another man was dis-membered and his head ended up on the front porch. The only eyewitnesses to any of these event swears that they saw “Fast Eddie” at the scene of the crime. The building burned 3 years ago, but passerbys say they see Fast eddie staring out of the glassless window.

#2 Union, MO (Photo and story)

I have not actually entered this house, but when we drive by it, I always get a cold chill and totally creeped out. I looked into the history and found accounts of families that have been chased out of the house due to what happened to them while living there. Some have left in the dead of the night. Some left their things while others would only return by the light of day, with someone else accompanying them. It is said that the entity has done everything from turning on lights, to sending things flying at people, chasing them, moaning and screaming at them some have gotten stuck in rooms that do not have locks on the doors.

People have seen a black figure standing in the upper window of the house. There is a video online that a paranormal investigator did, after watching this video I had bad dreams for days about this house.
