AFTER THE TORMENT To Screen At 13th Annual Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival

In our continuing support of independent filmmakers and festivals, Birmingham, Alabama filmmaker Jason O’Brien (KILLING CHRISTIAN) will screen his new short film, AFTER THE TORMENT, as an official selection at the 13th Annual Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival. The film, part of a block of locally made shorts, will be shown at the Hill Event Center on Saturday (August 27) beginning at 7:20 PM.

A film that tells the story of what happens to two of the characters in the feature film a year after the events in Beautiful Torment, but stands alone as the story of two people who never gave their mutual attraction a chance, and who get one last opportunity to see if they were meant to be together all along.

Shot in New York in November of 2010, AFTER THE TORMENT represents the next evolution in a long process to obtain the financing to make a feature film called BEAUTIFUL TORMENT, which will be shot in Birmingham once financing can be obtained.
