An updated schedule is available for the IFC CROSSROADS HOUSE at the South by Southwest Film, Interactive and Music festival in Austin, TX March 11-19.  The schedule lives at www.ifc.com/sxsw/schedule and will be updated frequently as additional events, parties, celebrities and bands are confirmed.  You can also follow @ifctv on Twitter for updates.

Festival-goers can stop by the IFC CROSSROADS HOUSE in downtown Austin (East 7th and Brazos) open daily (3pm -10pm during Film and Interactive March 11-15, 12pm – 8pm during Music March 17-19) and catch exciting events, LIVE performances from bands, and celebrity interviews in the IFC Crossroads Studio. Festival goers can pre-register to gain access to the house and all events at http://www.ifc.com/sxsw/rsvp/.

IFC CROSSROADS HOUSE SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS:

Celebrity Interviews:

  • 3/12 – The cast of Super including Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page join director James Gunn to discuss Wilson’s attempt at becoming a super hero.
  • 3/13 – Morgan Spurlock will stop by the house to talk about his new film Greatest Movie Ever Sold.
  • 3/13 – The cast of PAUL including Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and director Greg Mottola will stop by to chat about their upcoming si-fi adventure.
  • 3/14 – The cast of Win Win including Paul Giamatti, Amy Ryan and Alex Schaffer will stop by to talk about the film.

Events:

  • 3/12 – Whiskey Friday with The Onion & IFC.  Includes an exclusive early screening of that week’s Onion News Network episode followed by a band performance and more Whiskey.
  • 3/15 – IFC & Facebook. With a performance by The Kills.
  • 3/15 – IFC’s Beard and Mustache Contest with the Austin Facial Hair Club.  The best beards in Austin, TX will be judged by the Austin Facial Hair Club.
  • 3/15 – Comedy night with IFC and Comedy Death Ray. CDR’s Scott Aukerman host. Several comedians including special celebrity guests will perform some of their best stand-up. The evening will be topped off with a live band performance.
  • 3/18 – Liz Phair will perform LIVE with the FREECREDITSCORE band.
