ARTHUR Trailer Stars Russell Brand & Helen Mirren
From Warner Bros. Pictures comes the first trailer for ARTHUR starring the wickedly funny Russell Brand as the wild playboy Arthur. If there’s one actor who can take the place of Dudley Moore from the original 1981 comedy, it’s without a doubt Brand.
Oscar-winner Helen Mirren taking on the role of Hobson, originated by the great Sir John Gielgud, definitely gives an extra weightiness that this film needs.
Synopsis:
Irresponsible charmer Arthur Bach has always relied on two things to get by: his limitless fortune and the good sense of lifelong nanny Hobson to keep him out of trouble. Now he faces his biggest challenge — choosing between an arranged marriage that will ensure his lavish lifestyle or an uncertain future with the one thing money can’t buy, Naomi, the only woman he has ever loved. With Naomi’s inspiration and some unconventional help from Hobson, Arthur will take the most expensive risk of his life and finally learn what it means to become a man.
ARTHUR stars Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Greta Gerwig, Luis Guzman, Nick Nolte, Jennifer Garner and is directed by Jason Winer, written by Peter Baynham from a story by Steve Gordon.
ARTHUR will be in theaters on April 8, 2011. Like the film on Facebook HERE.
