New THE SOCIAL NETWORK Trailer Makes More Friends

One can’t help but be truly moved by the beginning of this new trailer for THE SOCIAL NETWORK. The whole look of it is really mesmerizing and I was ready to finally see some footage from the film after after the two dialogue driven teasers. I love that Radiohead’s “Creep” – ala a children’s choir – accompanies it.

Where’s the “like” button to click on?? The score for the film is from Nine Inch Nails. In early July, Trent Reznor posted on their website:

Synopsis:

From director David Fincher (ZODIAC, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON) and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin comes THE SOCIAL NETWORK, a film that proves you don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca, and Cean Chaffin and based on the book “The Accidental Billionaires” by Ben Mezrich.

Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Brenda Song, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Rooney Mara and Armie Hammer, THE SOCIAL NETWORK is the Opening Night film for the upcoming 48th Annual New York Film Festival on September 24th and will be released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in theaters on October 1, 2010.
