JOHNNIE BE GOOD THE MOVIE: Meet The Filmmaker
On June 6th, there will be a presentation by filmmaker Art Holliday about the music documentary-in-progress JOHNNIE BE GOOD – the life and music of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame piano man Johnnie Johnson.
Here’s the schedule for Sunday’s events:
- 5:30-5:45 PM – Carnahan HS Jam
- 6:00-7:00 PM – Jeremiah Johnson Band with the Sliders Horn Section
- 7:15-8:15 PM – Art Holliday: talking about the progress of the documentary, showing soundbites with Eric Clapton, movie director Taylor Hackford, and Letterman band leader Paul Shaffer, along with a trailer for JOHNNIE BE GOOD.
- 8:30-9:00 PM – Billy Barnett Band & special guests
Along with FREE live music, the event will be held at BB’s Jazz, Blues & Soups. 700 Broadway, Saint Louis, MO from 5 – 9pm.
