IRONCLAD Poster Makes the Blood Run

The new poster for Jonathan English’s Knights Templar epic IRONCLAD has been unveiled, and, courtesy of Empire Online, you can view this sucker in all of its bloody glory.   That’s not an adjective commonly used by Brits, either.   This thing is bloody and features a battle-worn James Purefoy covered in the red, red kroovy of a recent fight to the death.   In a nutshell, don’t expect to be seeing this thing released in US theater lobbies unedited.

Looks very cool, and that cast list is pretty astounding, as well.   It’s been awhile since we’ve seen thespians like Derek Jacobi and Charles Dance in our local cinemas.   It’s also nice to hear Giamatti stepping up his villainy game once again.   Can’t wait to see what everyone has in store for this film.

IRONCLAD is set to bloody up theaters sometimes in 2010.
