Will Ferrell Set for EVERYTHING MUST GO

Will Ferrell is going back to the indie world with EVERYTHING MUST GO.   According to Variety, he has signed on to star in the Dan Rush-directed indie flick with production set to begin in March.

The story, written by Rush, centers on a man who loses his job and is kicked out of his own house by his wife.   With all of his personal belongings dumped on the front lawn, the man set out to sell everything he owns in an impromptu yard sale.

Says producer Marty Bowen about Ferrell being on board:

Will is one of the best at making an audience sympathize with a character’s ordeal, and the blending and comedy in this script will show a side of him that we haven’t really seen before.

EVERYTHING MUST GO features a budget of $10 million, which is half of what Ferrell generally earns for himself on bigger budget films.
