First Shots From John Carpenter’s THE WARD

Yeah, yeah, I know I cut off half of Ice Cube’s head, a blasphemy in any other context, but this story is about the guy on the right, the white guy.  You see, 20-25 years ago, that guy was an icon in the world of horror.  He still is for those willing to go back and seek out his movies.  Now, after a nine-year hiatus, John Carpenter is returning to the big screen, and his new movie is called THE WARD.

Set for release sometime in 2010, the film stars Amber Heard as a young girl in a mental institution who is being tormented by an evil spirit.

Today, courtesy of Premiere Picture, we have our first shots from this new movie.  Without further ado, here ya’ go:
