The Pirates of the Caribbean 4 coming summer 2011. Captain Jack Sparrow is here and the crowd goes wild!

And they also posted this picture of Johnny Depp. Latino Review tweeted that “Pirates of the Carribean 4: On Stranger Tides is the official title.

In addition to the new announcement of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 4’s title and release date, we also have this snazzy new logo courtesy of Coming Soon.

Also, our buddy Erik Davis from Cinematical directed our attention to a 1987 book entitled “On Stranger Tides.”

Here is the book’s synopsis:

Puppeteer John Chandagnac, bound for Jamaica to recover stolen money from his uncle, becomes Jack Shandy after pirates attack his ship and force him to join their crew.
