‘Kung Fu Kid’ Set Pics Released

Read ’em and weep, boys.   The remake of ‘Karate Kid,’ newly titled ‘Kung Fu Kid,’ is happening, and it is happening as we speak.   The fine folks over at SpoilerTV were kind enough to unveil these new set pics to offer proof that, indeed, this film is getting made, Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith are starring, and it offers up some interesting, ‘Saw’-like traps.   Okay, that last part might not be true, but we can always dream, can’t we?

Filming is currently underway in Beijing under the direction of Harald Zwart.   The film is set to release on June 11th, 2010.
