First Official Look at Ben Kingsley in ‘Prince of Persia’

Yesterday, Disney released the first, official posters for ‘Prince of Persia’, and, today, they have this first look at Ben Kingsley’s villainous Nizam.   It’s looking like the marketing on ‘Prince of Persia’ is gearing up, and the chances of a trailer by the end of the week is looking more and more likely.   Look for it to air in front of Jerry Bruckheimer’s other Disney collaboration, ‘G-Force,’ opening in theaters this Friday.However, to tide you over until then, enjoy this look of Ben Kingsley glaring menacingly into your soul.

It looks like a still that is prepped for poster artwork, and, judging by the two posters they released for ‘Prince of Persia’ yesterday, this one is going to be another character poster in the making.

Based on the popular video game, ‘Prince of Persia’ tells the story of Dastan (Gyllenhaal), the heir to the king’s throne who teams with a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) to recover the Sands of Time from the villainous Nizam (Sir Ben Kingsley).   Mike Newell (’Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’) directs.

‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’ comes out on May 28th, 2010.
