Fantasy Cast Friday: Who Should Play The Crimson Twins, Tomax & Xamot, in a ‘GI Joe’ Sequel?

With early buzz coming out about ‘GI Joe’ and how it’s one of the worst films to ever come out of Paramount, the chances of a sequel being made of the film doesn’t seem all that likely.  Granted, the almighty dollar is what will drive it, but let’s just say the possibility of a sequel is already being shot down amongst the Internet community.

Unfortunately, one (or two, I should rephrase) of the best characters that could have made the jump to film with a ‘GI Joe’ sequel is the Crimson Twins, Tomax and Xamot.  Let’s just say pictures of them are scarce, so their file cards will just have to do.

Who do you think should play Tomax and Xamot?   Back when the first rumblings of a ‘GI Joe’ movie were being felt, I fantasy casted the entire movie.   Paramount and Stephen Sommers only ran with one of my ideas (Ray Park as Snake Eyes), but here is who I came up with in the roles of the Crimson Twins.

How’s that choice strike you?   Vincent Cassel is amongst the coolest of the cool, a great actor who has never quite taken off with any amount of A-level stardom.   He’s got the look for Tomax and Xamot.   He’s definitely got the cool factor going for him.   More than anything else, the guy is just an excellent actor, and double the Cassel would make many a movie geek happy.
