‘Mystery Team’ will see a nationwide release!

One of my favorite films at Sundance has finally gotten a buyer for US distribution. ‘Mystery Team’ has been picked up by Roadside Attractions and will see a national release this fall. Here is a snippit from the press release:

Roadside Attractions has acquired all U.S. rights to DERRICK Comedy’s MYSTERY TEAM, the first feature length film from DERRICK Comedy, one of the web’s most successful comedy teams, it was announced today by Eric d’Arbeloff, Co-President, Roadside Attractions. The group will embark on an innovative advance-release tour of colleges in the late summer, to be followed by a national release this fall.

All I can really say is its about freaking time. Everyone that watched this at Sundance raved about it and I honestly cant believe it took this long for a buyer to see the light.
