Dark Castle Set for ‘I Saw What You Did’ Remake
Dark Castle has had a long track record for remaking horror movies. Â Their remakes range from pretty good (‘House on Haunted Hill’) to pretty awful (‘Thirteen Ghosts’). Â The latest film they are set to remake is ‘I Saw What You Did.’ Â The original film was directed by William Castle, the master of gimmick horror, and the remake will be written by Patrick Lussier (‘My Bloody Valentine’) and Todd Farmer. Â Lussier is set to direct.
The ’65 original starred Joan Crawford. Â It centered around a couple of girls who pass the time making prank phone calls. Â Of course, they end up calling the wrong guy.
As with all Dark Castle projects, Joel Silver will be producing through Warner Brothers.
