Women of Horror Film Festival – Chicago 2009

We Are Movie Geeks will be in attendance at the Women of Horror Film Festival in Chicago, IL this Saturday, April 25, 2009. If you’re in the area, come on out and enjoy the freaky festivities with us at the Portage Theatre at 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave.

The event is sponsored by the Horror Society of Chicago and will feature screenings of feature-length indie horror films as well as short films that are written, directed or produced by women, or that feature female leads who aren’t victims. The event will also have several special guests on hand and will include a special raffle to benefit to Lynn Sage Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
