Dark Castle Nabs ‘Nye Incidents’ Rights

In the same week that Fox Atomic was closing its doors comes word that Dark Castle, Warner Brothers horror/action division, is picking up rights for its next film. Â  The film will be an adaptation of the Devil’s Due graphic novel, ‘The Nye Incidents,’ written by sci-fi novelist, Whitley Strieber.

The story revolves around a medical examiner who must investigate a murder mystery where all of the victims are alien abductees. Â  The story is based on true events.

Todd Lincoln is set to direct. Â  This will be Lincoln’s directorial debut having only one credit, that of a production assistant on ‘From Dusk Till Dawn,’ on his resume.

Dark Castle has ‘Orphan’ on its slate for release later this year.
