Bruce Willis Weighing Three Different Action Pics

Despite topping 50 a few years back, Bruce Willis is still proving he’s a man of action at heart. Â  He is in negotiations to star in not one, not two, but three, different action films, ‘Inventory’, ‘Red’ and ‘Scarpa.’

‘Inventory,’ for Nulmage/Millennium, would put Willis in the role of a detective on the trailer of a murderer.

In ‘Red,’ produced by Summit Entertainment, Willis would play a former black-ops agent who is forced out of retirement after a high-tech assassin targets he and his girlfriend. ‘Red’ is based on the WildStorm/DC Comics and is being written by Jon and Erich Hoeber (‘Whiteout’). Richard Donner is on Summit’s shortlist to direct.

‘Scarpa’ is a biopic about Greg Scarpa, an FBI informant who worked undercover in New York’s Columbo family. Though Willis has been eyeing this project to play the title role, odds are growing slim that he will actually take the part. ‘Scarpa’ is to be directed by Antoine Fuqua, who directed Willis in ‘Tears of the Sun.’

Willis is attached to star in a number of other action films. He will next be seen in the sci-fi/action movie ‘Surrogates,’ and is set to star in the buddy action-comedy ‘A Couple of Dicks’ and the video game adaptation of ‘Kane & Lynch.’
