No Writers, Leonard Nimoy for ‘Transformers 3’?

Peter over at /film got a pretty interesting scoop on ‘Transformers3’, revealing that writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will NOT be returning to write the third installment.

“Time for fresh blood!† writes Orci. “The main reason we would move on is because we risk getting stale and comfortable. If you only sing one song for too long, you miss the opportunity to sing news songs. We’ll see.† — /film

So, that’s the scoop on the writers… apparently, there aren’t any yet. However, there is apparently talk about some new voice talent. At least, new to this movie franchise. Leonard Nimoy’s name was dropped for providing the voice for The Fallen.

Nimoy originally voiced Galvatron in the original 1986 animated movie. Frank Welker was also mentioned, as he voiced several characters in the original cartoon, including Megatron and Soundwave.
