New Poster for ‘Where the Wild Things Are’

Check out the new poster for Spike Jonze’s long-awaited adaptation of the classic children’s fantasy book ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. I have been eagerly following this movie for a long time, through all it’s ups and many downs, it’s struggles with the studio and everything else, but it’s finally making it’s way to theaters on October 19, 2009.

I really like this poster. It’s not the usual boring stock where 2-3 photos are Photoshopped together with some boring typeface. No, it’s original and evocative of the book, gives us a glimpse of what’s to come but also maintains an element of mystery, allowing for younger audiences to be intrigued as well as older, more familiar audiences to get excited for the movie.
