Comic Con NY 2009: Don Murphy

My first interview of Day 2 at the New York Comic Con was at the Anchor Bay booth with producer Don Murphy. He was there promoting his newest film While She Was Out, which stars Kim Basinger. Some of his other projects include Transformers and Shoot ‘Em Up, which is still one of my favorite action films. While She Was Out will be released on DVD from Anchor Bay on April 28th. I have some posters autographed by Don Murphy that I will give away closer to the film’s release date. Here’s the Red Band trailer for the film.

I think it looks pretty cool and I’m looking forward to checking it out. If you need some more convincing, check out my video below to hear Don talk about While She Was Out, the current state of horror and some brief details about a newly formed project that I am already looking forward to.
