‘State of Play’ photos
These are the first two photos to appear for the new movie ‘State of Play’ the newest movie form Universal and Focus Pictures. The movie stars an all-star cast of Russell Crowe, Rachael McAdams, Ben Affleck, and Helen Miren and is directed by acclaimed director Kevin MacDonald. The thriller centers around  a rising congressman and an investigative journalist embroiled in a case of seemingly unrelated, brutal murders.
Crowe plays DC reporter Cal McCaffrey, who’s street smarts lead him to untangle a mystery of murder and collusion among some of the nation’s most promising political and corporate figures. Affleck stars as the dashing yet secretive Congressman Stephen Collins. For some reason when I think of this movie the original ‘Manchurian Candidate’ with Frank Sinatra comes to mind. This movie hits theaters April 17th, 2009
