‘Evil Dead: The Musical’ … Can fans make it happen?

‘Evil Dead: The Musical‘ has been a smash hit during it’s run, but there’s a catch… it’s been stuck in Canada. I think it may have played Off Broadway in New York, but I may be wrong. What is true, is that the rest of the country has been screwed unless they were willing and able to trek cross-country to see it. So, I was wondering what it would take to get ‘Evil Dead: The Musical’ to go on tour? Could a grass roots effort by fans convince those in charge to set the cast and crew of the production in motion for a US tour? It seems this would result in a sure-fire success for producers. What do you all think? Am I wrong, or are there enough fans out there who would pay to see the “live” performance? Maybe even multiple times? For the fans out there, what’s a tour of ‘Evil Dead: The Musical’ worth to you?

Yeah, yeah, yeah… I know! There are possibly plans for an ‘Evil Dead: The Musical’ movie to run in theaters, which is all fine and good, unless the talk of it being 3-D is true, then it’s less appealing. Either way, it’s just simply not the same. I went about doing a little research on the Internet and found a few on-line petitions to bring into existence.
