‘New Moon’ Gets Official Release Date
Pretty soon we’ll have a new pic from ‘New Moon’ to show, and we can stop running that super-glossy group photo above. Â It was announced this week that the follow-up to ‘Twilight’ will officially be getting released on November 20, 2009. Â For those of you keeping track, that’s 364 days after ‘Twilight’ got its wide release, not even a full year between films.
‘Twilight’ has pulled in $150 million domestic so far and another $35 million overseas. Â There are four books total in the ‘Twilight’ series.
Also scheduled to bow on November 20, 2009 are ‘Sherlock Holmes’, ‘The Three Stooges’, and the Sony cartoon ‘Planet 51’.
What do you think? Â Is less than a year not nearly enough time for a decent sequel to be pulled off? Â What do you make of new director Chris Weitz? Â Let us know by commenting below!
