Box Office Results Dec.12-14: Neo and the Earth Land at No.1!
Keanu Reeves resurrected his personality from the Matrix trilogies and remade the Sci-Fi classic ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’. The trailers were good enough to lure enough viewers in to net the film 31 million and the top spot at the box office this weekend. Keanu, the cliff is ahead. The week 2 drop for this film maybe be record breaking. Holiday fave ‘Four Christmases’ and Twilight were still able to hold their own this week. The other Christmas newcomer “Nothing Like The Holidays’ opened in a disappointing 7th with 3.5 million. Here is how the rest of the top ten stacked up.
